Volunteers & Watershed Wealth
WWC has the following volunteer opportunities for student or professional
involvement:
Business related:
-assistance with market, statistics and business planning research
-feasibility studies on pre-identified value added products
-generation of marketing materials
-customer, landowner, manufacturer and retailer surveys
-social networking site moderators
Natural Science / Resource Management related:
-assistance with design and collection of various site trials, as well as
collection and analyses of data involving multiple aspects of plants, soil,
carbon, water and nutrients
-assistance with collation of monitoring protocol research and configuration of
an integrated Watershed Wealth monitoring system
-assistance with restoration site installation and/or monitoring
-field work such as plant rescue and invasive species removal
-social networking site moderators
IT / Information Management related:
-website development and maintenance
-customer and Delivery Agent IT support (system design, ongoing support)
-graphics
-network maintenance
-GIS database coordination and data feed integration
General:
-event coordination
-information uploading into web-based content management system
-contact database organization
